Kenvue: Design India
Building a global design capability at GCC.
When I joined Kenvue, the opportunity went beyond delivering design. It was about building a scalable design capability in India that could support global brands, markets and teams while creating a stronger foundation for quality, consistency and growth.

Overview
Kenvue’s brands, some of the most recognised names in consumer health, operate across markets, categories and regulatory environments. Design sits at the centre of how those brands show up in the world, on shelf and on screen.
Challenge
The opportunity was to move design in India from project-by-project execution to an operating capability: one team, shared standards and systems that could carry global brands at scale, without losing quality or speed.
What I did
- 01Design organization development
- 02Team building
- 03Design realization
- 04Global stakeholder collaboration
- 05Design systems
- 06Operating frameworks
- 07Talent development
- 08Brand stewardship
- 09Process improvement
Approach
Build the organization before scaling the output. Define the operating frameworks, grow the team, establish design realization standards, and earn global stakeholder trust through consistent quality, delivered repeatedly.
The system
- ARDI
- Design Realization
- Print Feasibility
- Brand Stewardship
- Workflow Frameworks
The team
A multidisciplinary creative team spanning design, production, packaging and project management, built through clear roles, real ownership and deliberate talent development, with emerging leaders growing into larger mandates.

Design development

Execution

Impact
- 01A standing design capability in India that global brand teams rely on for realization, stewardship and systems.
- 02Established scalable packaging systems, templates and workflows, reducing delivery timelines by 25%.
The most durable thing a design leader builds is not the work. It’s the organization that keeps making the work possible.
